3F – Digital Photography (3rd – 8th)
Learn about photography through basic rules of thirds, golden triangles, golden spirals, shapes, colors, vantage point, balance, and framing. May take short walking field trips for subject matter. Need own digital camera, wire to upload, battery charger, and clean memory chip.
Class finale includes student’s best photo displayed in a Photo Exhibit at Ruby’s Diner in Redondo Beach!

3G – Tennis (Advanced Skills)
Our own Mr. R is giving tennis lessons for advanced players - a student who has previously taken tennis lessons. We will go over advanced drills for forehand and backhand swings, serves, and volleys! We’ll practice our skills by playing tennis matches, too! Come prepared with your own racket!

3H – Science Lab (5th-8th)
In this session, we will take an advance look at science through hands on experiments and labs. Experimenting with fun household items will help students gain a better understanding of the physical and chemical world. Students will get to experience some great chemical reactions as well build lava lamps and play with static electricity.

3K – Coach Ari Chess (1st- 8th)
Coach Ari brings out the very best in every student and encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and critical thinking skills to learn to master the game of chess! It's a high-energy, competitive, and engaging environment! Your child will LOVE their experience!

3L Creative Art (6th-8th)
In this art program students will establish self-confidence and will develop aesthetic judgement through analyzing and creating art. Students will look at different elements of arts(line, shape, color, texture, pattern, space, etc.) in famous art pieces. Students will recreate the works of the Great Masters themselves (Georgia O’Keefe, Monet, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, etc.). Lastly, students will learn how different time periods, society, and culture have impacted the different art pieces they work on.

3N- Miss Robyn's Summer Sweat Showdown (Fitness Class)
(6th-8th)
Students will experience a full-body workout that will help them build cardio endurance and strength while learning the importance of physical fitness and how it relates to their health. Each day we will begin with cardio to warm the body up, followed by some stretching. Monday, Wednesday and Friday will be more cardio endurance-based. Tuesday and Thursday will be more strength-based. We will play fitness games and have fun, while getting fit! Every class will end with a 5-10min restorative yoga flow to relax and restore their muscles and minds. At the beginning of each week, students will write down fitness goals they would like to improve on and/or achieve that week. At the end of each week, we will go over their goals and discuss the importance of setting goals and following through to achieve them. (Space is limited. Max of 18 students per class).
